We’re going to be at Long Beach Comic Expo 2015! It’s going to take place at Long Beach Convention Center (Hence, why it’s called “Long Beach Comic Expo”) from February 28 – March 1st! It’s a little small convention, but if you’re going though Con-Withdrawal (like I am!) then this convention should hold you over until the next big one!

Tickets Prices are:
– Weekend Pass: $45
– Saturday Pass: $30
– Sunday Pass: $20

You save $5 by getting the Weekend Pass! Also, you can get the Lifetime Pass for Comic Expo which is $299. Don’t know if it’s worth it, but hey…it’s a lifetime’s worth of passes for a Con. And if you definitely love going to Conventions like these, the Lifetime Pass will pay off in the long run!

Guests inlude:
– Art Adams (Legendary Comic Artist, Longshot, The Uncanny X-Men, Excalibur, X-Factor, Fantastic Four, Hulk)
– Chris Claremont (Legendary writer including X-Men’s Days of Future Past & The Dark Phoenix Saga)

Movie Trailer Premiere: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!

By: Von Jared Omo

I have no idea who they are and I have to admit that I haven’t read the comic yet, BUT…this trailer looks AWESOME and it looks like it’s going to have the same humor, if not MORE HUMOR, than the first Iron Man movie. I only say that because that’s the only Marvel movie I can remember that had me cracking up in the theater and had me in awe when I first saw Tony take flight in his Mach 3. Anyway, without further ado…GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 SUPER BOWL AD Pt. 1!

By: Von Jared Omo

OMG! I just saw part one of the Amazing Spider-Man Super Bowl trailer, and it looks frickin’ intense! Along with a few new scenes, the end of the trailer teases at one of the most jaw dropping moments in Marvel Comics history. I won’t ruin it for you, but I’ll give you a hint…

Did Peter indirectly cause the death? Or was the time of death prior to when Peter tried to save her? YIKES! Enough reading, check out the trailer already and be on the lookout for part 2 of the trailer during the Super Bowl this Sunday February 2, 2014!

Paul Rudd is Marvel’s ANT-MAN!

By: Von Jared Omo

AntMan

Well, that escalated quickly! The last I heard about the “Ant-Man” casting was that Paul Rudd and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were going at it to see who would take the coveted spot. It seems that because JGL has now accepted to be a part of Warner Bros.’ SANDMAN, Paul Rudd will not be “Ant-Man”. It would be awesome to see how Rudd takes on the role. I’ve seen his work on “Our Idiot Brother” and it seems Rudd can showcase his emotional side when he’s not in his comedic mode. I’m not going to jump the gun and say he won’t do a good job. I think people have done that enough with Ledger and his portrayal of the Joker or even Hathaway’s take on Catwoman. You just don’t know how it’s going to be until you actually watch the movie! So, here’s to you Paul Rudd! Make us proud! Let PHASE 3 commence!
