Gal Gadot

Well, that news came out of no where, huh? The last bit of news that I heard about the new Superman/Batman movie was about Kevin Smith losing his mind over the new Batsuit and how Affleck looked in it and that Affleck was going to put his own spin/portrayal of Batman that no one has ever seen before…or something along those lines. Call me a skeptic, but I won’t make any expectations for this movie until the trailer is released or some pictures pop up all over the internet that give me some sort of idea of what direction this movie is going. HOWEVER, I’m a little surprised that not only is WONDER WOMAN going to be in the new movie, but that they chose GAL GADOT. And here’s why…

Now, just because I’m surprised, that doesn’t mean that it’s negative. It just caught me off guard. I didn’t even know they were thinking about putting Wonder Woman in this film! But, I have an idea of where this might lead to…and I’ll get to that later. BUT FIRST! Let’s talk about Gal Gadot and her being cast as Wonder Woman. First, she’s gorgeous. There’s no denying that she has a beautiful face. However, her body appears to be a little too petite/slim to play the Wonder Woman role. If you haven’t seen her or don’t recognize her, she plays Han’s girlfriend in Fast and Furious 4, 5, and 6. She does have some experience with action movies and in one of her interviews I’ve seen, she does like to do as much of her own stunts as possibly. She sounds like an adrenaline junkie! This characteristic may actually help her in her portrayal of Wonder Woman! IF she puts on some more muscle for Wonder Woman, she might just actually pull this off!

Now, referring back to what I said that this might lead to. This movie could quite possibly lead to the formation of the TRINITY or even the JUSTICE LEAGUE! DC is definitely taking a different route with their movies and it’s going to be interesting in seeing what they have planned up their sleeves!
